There is various different color gems with its own special attacks, not just by the difference of attack power but the side effect that causes enemy to poison, slow down and reduce armor. These add a whole lot of strategy element to the game. But all of these action require mana to do so and it is also your primary sources in the game, it act as money in the game, it will generate slowly over time and also you can earn more by killing monster. Where the interesting part of the game and also complicated one is where you have to mix different color gem together to get a higher level gems. However the gems color is randomly given to you, so if you want a specific types of gem color, you better start producing a lot of low level red color gem at the start of the game. Gems can be pure or multi color, pure gems are stronger and multi-color gives you special side effects. If you have to many unwanted gems, you can just throw it directly at the enemy as a bombs. GemCraftis a very made flash game with sharp and nice graphics along with innovative gameplay which will certainly keeps the tower defense crowd enjoy.
