From the cinematic to story introduction, Aether is full of mystery, the world seems so lonely yet so beautiful. It's a game that you won't put down unless you complete it. Aether by nature is a puzzle game, you have to travel through 5 different planet to solve the habitant problems. Aether is a rather short game only if you know how to solve all the puzzle at first hand. What makes it so hard to complete is that it often doesn't provide any clues on what you have to solve on the planet's. As most puzzle here as you might expect is out of logic, you need to be creative doing all sort of trick you can imagine there. A tips for the gamers, on one of the planet you have to swing around the sun 3 times. You can have a great idea of the puzzle from the example given, hope you solve all of them without too much frustration :) On the graphics perspective, aether looks beautiful. Although the world isn't too lively, it was beautifully drawn. Combined with the somewhat mysterious music, it catches the lonely feel of the world. Animation is great too from swinging to swimming unless your PC is too slow to handle. It might becomes choppy and slow. Overall, Aether is not your usual casual games, at least on the puzzle side of the game it can be quite difficult to solve. But you can swing around the planet and listen to the music just to enjoy the game. It's a great game, very well made and creative, but it might not be love by everyone.
